Facilely Fabricated Bright Lead?Free Perovskite Cs <sub>3</sub> Cu <sub>2</sub> I <sub>5</sub> Scintillator Film for High?Definition X?Ray Imaging

Scintillator is a critical component to detect high-energy particles or rays, which widely used in deep space exploration, security inspection, and nondestructive testing medical diagnosis, such as X-ray imaging computed tomography (CT). However, the wider application of traditional inorganic organic scintillators limited by complex operation process poor adaptability changeable environment, there remains demand develop green stable with high sensitivity low detection limit. Herein, one-step preparation lead-free perovskite Cs3Cu2I5 scintillator film for high-definition conventional chemical vapor deposition method reported. demonstrates good stability bright-blue emission at 445 nm superhigh photoluminescence quantum yield (85.14%). Importantly, upon irradiation, exhibits light (?39 251 photons MeV?1) two times commercially available Ce:LuAG single-crystal (?22 000 MeV?1). Furthermore, practical demonstration bamboo stick insect specimens illustrates sensitive scintillation response signals superior linearity high-quality images photography CT. Overall, provides nontoxicity, radioluminescence intensity, stability, it can be regarded competitive material imaging.
